At 14:01 on Thursday, 17 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire Persons Reported in Telford.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Much Wenlock and Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Fire within ground floor of property. All persons within property were accounted for.

One saloon vehicle which had come to rest on side after collision with road furniture. Large amount of fuel on roadway.

At 13:41 on Sunday, 13 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ludlow.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and a utility company.

This incident involved an out of control bonfire. The bonfire spread to a garden shed, and adjacent field, area measuring approx 20x20m Telegraph pole also involved. Crews extinguished fire using one hose reel jet and beaters. One casualty in care of Ambulance Service. Assistance from Hereford and Worcester Fire Service.

Following reports of a vehicle in collision with a building, fire crews attended and made a vehicle safe, also isolating gas and electricity to the building.

• Positive Pressure Ventilation

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

This incident involved a fire affecting the door of a ground floor flat. Crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using 1 hose reel jet and 1 covering jet. Positive pressure ventilation also used to clear smoke logging. One casualty in care of ambulance service.
