Fire involving kitchen of domestic property. Crews extinguished fire using 4 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reel jets, and gave advice to occupant.

11 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit, the Light Pumping Unit, the Water Carrier and the Welfare Unit were mobilised from Bishops Castle, Bridgnorth, Church Stretton, Cleobury Mortimer, Craven Arms, Much Wenlock, Newport, Telford and Tweedale. Operations and Safety officers were in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Hosereel jet
- Main jet
One barn approx 60 x 20 m, containing 300 tonnes of straw and hay alight. All severely damaged by fire. One water curtain, one 45 mm jet, hydrant and inflatable dam in use. Fire crews remain in attendance for watching brief.
