• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving grillpan.

At 00:17 on Wednesday, 8 February, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Telford.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency and the Police.

One hatchback car was fully involved in fire. Crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using two hose reel jets.

At 04:43 on Sunday, 5 February, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Clocktower Inn, Donnington.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation

Fire in laundry room caused by tumble dryer. Crews extinguished fire using 2 BA, 1 covering jet, 1 hosereel jet and PPV to ventilate property. Full inspection of whole property carried out to check for smoke travel. Building clear and all persons accounted for.

Embers from control burn which had been carried by wind to hollow tree which was alight. Crews used one hose reel jet and one short extension ladder to extinguish.

One single axle caravan fully involved in fire. Crews used six breathing apparatus', two hose reel jet and one covering jet to extinguish. Casualties in the care of ambulance service.

5 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit, the Incident Support Unit and the Light Pumping Unit were mobilised from Baschurch, Church Stretton, Craven Arms, Shrewsbury and Telford Central. Operations and Safety officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Hosereel jet

This incident involves an area of gorse measuring approximately 300 - 400 metres squared. A number of hose reel jets and beaters are in use to extinguish the fire.
