At 03:31 on Sunday, 17 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire Persons Reported.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Prees and Whitchurch. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Oxygen first aid

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Incident involving fire in domestic property. All persons accounted for. Crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using two hose reel jets. Oxygen therapy administered to casualties awaiting arrival of Ambulance crew.
