At 17:07 on Saturday, 10 July, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Barn Fire.

4 fire appliances including the Light Pumping Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Baschurch, Craven Arms, Ellesmere and Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

Fire involving 20 tonnes of hay in dutch barn. Crews dampened down using drag rakes and 2 hose reel jets.

1 van fully involved in fire which had spread to adjacent tree. Crews extinguished using 2 hose reel jets.

3 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform were mobilised from Baschurch and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Triple/Short extension ladder

Also at the scene of the incident were: a utility company.

Building fire involving two storey brick built building. Oil tank and lean to building involved in fire. Four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, one covering jet and two short extension ladders in use.
