Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

Fire involving quantity of fly tipped cable and pallets. Crews used 1 hosereel jet and drag rakes to extinguish the fire.

At 23:11 on Tuesday, 2 April, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Barn Fire in Bridgnorth.

4 fire appliances including the Heavy Pumping Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Craven Arms. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Shovels/Forks/Brooms

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

Approx 70 tonnes of hay on fire. Crews spent worked through the night turning over using drag rakes and making good progress
