At 21:34 on Friday, 7 June, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Barn Fire in Whitcott Keysett, Clun.

4 fire appliances including the Light Pumping Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Bishops Castle, Bridgnorth, Clun and Craven Arms. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

This incident was a controlled burn involving two seats of fire. Crews extinguished one seat of fire and advice given to occupier

This incident involved a fire in a first floor flat. Crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using one hose reel jet. Positive pressure ventilation used to clear smoke logging.
