• Positive Pressure Ventilation

Fire in rear ground floor room. Two hose reel jets, 4 breathing apparatus and Positive Pressure Ventilation in use.

This incident involved a small fire involving the electrics on a private saloon vehicle. Two breathing apparatus, one hosereel jet, small gear and a thermal imaging camera used to extinguish fire.

At 04:19 on Tuesday, 5 January, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire.

8 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform were mobilised from Bishops Castle, Clun, Minsterley, Shrewsbury and Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• 9/10.5m ladder
• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera
• Triple/Short extension ladder

This incident involved a fire affecting two semi-detached properties. Severe damage to properties, with fire spreading to cavity of property. 4 breathing apparatus, 4 hose reel jets, 1 main jet, ladders, thermal imaging cameras, small gear and cavity tool in use to extinguish fire.
