At 22:27 on Tuesday, 28 January, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Mayfield, Madeley .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Tweedale.

Small fire involving unattended cooking in kitchen of domestic property. Fire was out on arrival of fire crew, however, the property was smokelogged and the crew used positive pressure ventilation equipment to clear the smoke.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Cleobury Mortimer.

Report of a fire involving the electric meter. On arrival crew found that there were sparks issuing from the meter and the property was smokelogged. Electric company was contacted and requested to attend. Positive pressure ventilation system in use to clear smoke from property.

• Triple/Short extension ladder

Fire involving wheelie bin at rear of property that has spread to roof of single storey utility room. Crews using two breathing apparatus, and two hose reel jets to extinguish.

Call to report of a house on fire. Incident was found to be a fire involving a wheelie bin and a conifer hedge approximately 10m x 2m. The fire had been caused by hot ashes being put into wheelie bin.
