At 08:32 on Saturday, 3 June, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Bridgnorth.
3 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Tweedale.
Reports of fire the Comer Woods which involved undergrowth. Fire crews used shovel, peat lances and incident support vehicles used to ferry water.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Bishops Castle. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Hosereel jet
- Thermal imaging camera
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.
This incident is 150sqm of woodland, seperate seats of fire . Crews used 2 hose reel jets to damp down hotspots
