At 11:22 on Friday, 24 May, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Bicton Heath, Shrewsbury.
3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender and the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Attending crews used the following equipment:
Also at the scene of the incident were: a vet.
Crews have rescued a black Labrador dog after it got stuck in tree branches in a pond. Fire Service Swift Water Technicians used a 9 metre ladder, poles and a stretcher to reach the dog and free it. A vet was also in attendance with the owner of the dog

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Hodnet, Market Drayton and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.
RTC involving car in collision with pedestrian. Crews have used the medical kit off the appliance and assisted with releasing casualty who was trapped between the car and the fence.
