6 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Church Stretton, Much Wenlock, Shrewsbury, Telford Central and Tweedale. Operations and Safety officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Hosereel jet

Several seats of fire on Severn valley railway embankment and 5 Acres of field and undergrowth well alight. Crews used Hose reel jets and beaters to extinguish fire.
