2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Newport and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• Short extension ladder

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

1 4x4 vehicle has left the road and landed on its side on a hedge. 1 female casualty trapped - short extension ladder used to rescue her. Car then made safe by fs personnel. Believed to be caused by icy road.
