3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Oswestry, Shrewsbury and Wellington. Operations and Hazmat officers were in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Air Ambulance, the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Reports of casualty in hole 8ft deep. Casualty rescued by Ambulance Service personnel prior to the arrival of Fire Service. Casualty conveyed to hospital by air ambulance.
