At 07:02 on Saturday, 21 October, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Ford.

2 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform were mobilised from Church Stretton and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .

Fire in first floor bedroom of property, crews have used breathing apparatus and hose reel jets to extinguish the fire and all neighbouring properties have been checked.
