At 02:39 on Sunday, 29 June, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire Persons Reported in Shrewsbury.
3 fire appliances were mobilised from Minsterley and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Breathing Apparatus (BA)
- Covering jet
- Hosereel jet
- Positive Pressure Ventilation
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.
This incident involved a fire affecting the door of a ground floor flat. Crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using 1 hose reel jet and 1 covering jet. Positive pressure ventilation also used to clear smoke logging. One casualty in care of ambulance service.

Also at the scene of the incident were: a utility company.
This incident involved approximately 15 metres square of grass and undergrowth alight, which had spread to an electricity pole. Crews used two hose reel jets and knapsack sprayer to extinguish the fire. National Grid also attending.
