At 12:13 on Monday, 9 June, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Wellington.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving one domestic property. No persons inside property. Crews extinguished fire using 2 hose reel jets, 1 covering jet, 4 breathing apparatus, 1 thermal imaging camera and 1 positive pressure ventilation fan.

3 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Cleobury Mortimer.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

This incident involves the remains of a wooden chalet approx 6 x 6m. Crews extinguished using 1 x extended hose reel just and drag rakes to turn over.

At 13:57 on Friday, 6 June, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Barn Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit, the Light Pumping Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Baschurch, Bridgnorth, Church Stretton, Shrewsbury, Telford Central and Tweedale. Operations and Safety officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Main jet

Barn and workshop involved in fire. Crews have removed hazardous items from the area and are currently using hosereel jets, main jets and curtain sprayers to prevent further fire spread.

2 fire appliances including the Light Pumping Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Baschurch, Ellesmere, Oswestry, Shrewsbury and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

This fire involved one electrical panel and cabling on wall. This fire was extinguished by crews using a hosereel jet and the surrounding straw was also dampened down.
